The Park County Planning Board is accepting written public comment on a Draft Enhanced Citizen-Initiated Zoning District (CIZD) Process. This effort is not a proposal to create or modify any zoning district, but rather an update to the existing process citizens use to petition the County to create a Citizen-Initiated Zoning District pursuant to MCA 76-2-101.
The Park County Commission is in the process of updating the Park County Subdivision Regulations. The Draft Subdivision Regulations are now available for public review and written comment for sixty (60) working days or until October 15, 2026. Following the written public comment period, the Planning Board will hold a public hearing (date/time to be determined) to hear from members of the public, consider the Draft Subdivision Regulations, and forward a recommendation to the Park County Commission. The Commission will hold a public hearing (date/time to be determined) and make the final decision regarding the Draft Park County Subdivision Regulations.
